About me:
- I've worked across various roles including design, UI/UX, machine learning, QA testing, and software development.
- I started learning to code when my teammates couldn't fix a simple UI issue, and to also keep up with my friends.
- I began taking programming seriously during my fourth year of university because QA testing is so boring.
- I discovered and exploited a freelance platform's compensation system, earning over $1,500 in just two weeks through strategic optimization.
- I studied Computer Science at the University of the Philippines.
- I co-founded Folderly, a group project that gained significant traction:
- 800k+ downloads, 20k reviews, 4.9 stars
- Reached #1 in Top Free Charts in App Store
- Reached #1 in Top Productivity Charts in App Store
- Received the highest presidential recognition for student innovation award in the Philippines.
- Dealing with all the headaches that come with insane success.
My thoughts:
- I find traditional corporate workflows inefficient. A quick bug fix often takes less time than documenting it extensively.
- If you can't find your niche, be the niche.
- Video games can be a great way to connect with others.
- Dream big and pursue ambitious goals.
- School wasn't just about studying for me—it was also a chance to build important networks and connections that really helped my career later on.
